'Through the Round Window' Original Papercut

A beautiful piece of papercut art which has been entirely drawn, cut and painted by hand, then layered to give depth. 
 
This papercut depicts a tranquil evening view through shoji screens and a circular window; sakura branches hang down from above, distant misty mountains, koi pond and silhouettes of the garden through the warmly lit shoji screen. The 'view' is set back from the window to make you feel as if you really are looking through.
 
This frame measures approx. 15x15cm and comes framed floating in a solid wood frame stained in 'Dark Oak'.
