Patience in Bloom

Patience in Bloom is a piece inspired by a childhood memory. We moved around a lot when I was a child; each time, my mum would plant a new wisteria tree (her favourite plant) but unfortunately never stayed long enough to watch it bloom. After many years of house moves and planting wisterias; my parents settled in their current home in the country, and my mum was finally able to see her favourite plant come to life. Her love of wisterias was passed down from her mother, and now to me.
