LEARN TO PAPERCUT

Having built up over 9 years experience working with paper and with clients such as Quarto Publishing, Forest Distillery, Sizzix and Moonpig; I decided to create a template subscription to help others learn and enjoy the art of papercutting. Learn this beautiful art form from the comfort of your own home and around your other commitments!

I created this subscription with all levels of skill in mind. If you're a beginner, simply start with the beginners option; this year includes useful hints and tips such as how to cut certain shapes (the dreaded circle!)

All you will need is a scalpel, self healing cutting mat, 130-165gsm paper, a bit of time and patience!

WHAT YOU'LL RECIEVE

TEMPLATES

Each month you will receive 2-4 templates, depending on your chosen plan, direct to your email. Each have been designed and hand cut by me before being turned into a pdf template for you!

FORUM

You will have your own profile which you can update with posts, photos and videos. You will be able to access the forum where you can connect with other members.

ADVICE

You will be able to contact me via email or even video chat for one-to-one help and advice. Whether you need help with how to cut a design, or need help designing your own. I will be there 24/7 (well...almost!)

IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

YEAR 1 - BEGINNERS

In the first year you will learn the basics of papercutting including: How to cut curves and circles, direction of cut (very important) and understanding positives and negatives in design. In your first email you will also receive access to my video on what tools and equipment you will need to get started! 

YEAR 2 - INTERMEDIATE

​

This year we will move onto more detailed designs. We will focus on how to add text to your design, adding colour inserts, working with layers, giving depth to your art and methods of transferring your designs. 

YEAR 3 - ADVANCED

​

During the final year, you will move onto advanced designs focusing on much more intricate templates with smaller details. After this course you should feel confident enough to develop your own style and create beautiful designs!
